Chinese women's volleyball team has thrashed Dominica, their second Group B opponents, 3-0 in a preliminary match at the Athens Olympic Games.
The reigning world champions played at their best to secure a comfortable victory over Dominica.
The highly-confident Chinese women did not give their rivals any chance winning the match in straight sets, 25-20, 25-16 and 25-16.
China will take on their arch-rivals Cuba on Wednesday.
This will be a real challenge for Chinese women without 1.96-meter star spiker Zhao Ruirui.
On Saturday, China beat America 3-1, in which Zhao Ruirui suffered a fracture in her right leg again.
Zhao Ruirui, who led China to victory at the 2003 World Championships, has been sidelined since fracturing her right leg in training in late March.
