Brazilian soccer star Ronaldo on Wednesday disclosed his desire to retire before he officially ends his physical rehabilitation on his right knee.

His announcement came due to his uncertainly about being able to compete at a high level. In February, he suffered yet another injury to his knee. Since then, he has gone through surgery and physical therapy in Brazil.

"I don't know if I should continue to play or retire once and for all. I still have not made my decision," said Ronaldo.

After a short stint on the field during a benefit game in Morocco earlier this week, in which Ronaldo only played 20 minutes, the player admitted to being tired and that his legs felt heavy. He said, "I only played 20 minutes because I've been having recent muscle problems. I am tired and my legs are too," added the forward.

Ronaldo is expected to be a possible reinforcement to many clubs throughout Europe. The most recent proposal has come from the Italian club, Sienna. "I am grateful for the offer, but I am uncertain about my future," added Ronaldo.

The athlete added, "I am not in a hurry to decide my future. I want to be able to finish my physical therapy and then see what the future holds for me. I may decide tomorrow, the next day, or next month."
